Thorough field clearance
Uneven or extra wide swaths are cleanly raked up by the 71" pick-up on the ROLLANT 160. The optimal tine spacing on the heavy-duty pick-up had been carefully selected for the thorough clearance of short crops. Large stub augers on either side feed the crop to the intake width. This results in extra bale density around the edges. The benefit for you: the bales are extremely stable, withstand rough handling, and do not lose their shape during transportation or long storage.

Consistent crop flow
Packer tines on the feed rake are located behind the pick-up. These packer lines actively feed the crop into the baling chamber. This continuous crop feed makes a considerable contribution to a high throughput speed.

Extra strength for dense bales
Dense bale compaction depends on rugged design. To satisfy this requirement, both sides of the steel rollers in the ROLLANT baling chamber are equipped with thick, double-welded stub shafts. Additional reinforcement plates inside the rollers keep them stable in heavy-duty applications.

Twine or net?
This baler can be equipped with twine, net, or both. Custom operators often order both systems to be sure of always meeting their customers' needs. There is no need to back up before wrapping and discharging the bale from the baler. The tailgate pulls the bale out of the chamber where it can roll back far enough for you to close the tailgate.
Classic Twine Wrap - You can choose between a manual or automatic twine start. The automatic system starts the process when the final pressure is reached and the operator is then informed by a buzzer and warning lamp. It takes around 20 seconds to wrap the bale with the dual twine wrapping system.
Modern Net Wrap - The ROLLATEX new wrap is designed to save time. The bale is wrapped in around 10 seconds. It is tight, stays in shape and is better protected from the weather.

| Drives |
| All of the rollers on the ROLLANT 160 are driven rollers. The 1-1/4" thick drive chains maintain the maximum continuous loading level. Thanks to the reduced stress, the chains in the tailgate are 1" thick and more than adequate. Optimal chain tension is guaranteed by self-aligning, spring-loaded chain tensioners. |
 |
Robust drive
The tractor's transmission is relieved of stress thanks to the freewheeling wide angle drive shaft. A sheer bolt in the drive line protects against damage to the ROLLANT in case of overloading.

 |
Pick-up drive with freewheel
The protection in the pick-up drive complies with strict standards and includes a freewheeling function. This provides effective protection for the machine and means that the tines don't bend when reversing.

 |
Always well lubricated
The drive chains are lubricated automatically. Besides chain adjustment, automatic lubrication contributes significantly to keeping wear and tear, as well as maintenance, to a minimum.

Control Terminal
With it's highly simplified design, the ROLLANT 160 is extremely easy to operate. A straightforward, clearly laid-out control terminal provides the operator with essential information. Wrapping is also launched from this control terminal. |
