The H&S Hay Machine II is the easiest machine to use to effectively reduce drying time of hay with the least amount of handling, and as a result, to considerably increase the nutrient value of your hay crop. Do not lay it out flat. Set your haybine or swather to lay it into a windrow to start with.

Transport Position

Optional 4th Raking Wheel
The optional 4th raking wheel (1) increases the raking width from 1-1/2' to 6' for your extra wide windrows.
No Adjustment for Rake Wheel Pressure
The 122" gauge wheel (1) on the front of the rake beam provides for proper rake tooth ground pressure, no adjustment needed. Each rake wheel is mounted independently (2) allowing them to better follow the contours of the ground.
Adjustment for a Fluffier Windrow
The hand crank (1) is for tedder reel height adjustment and the cam lever (2) is used to adjust the aggressiveness of the tedder teeth for a fluffier windrow.
Speed of Reel is Hydraulically Controlled
The speed of the tedder reel is hydraulically controlled. Manually adjust the control valve for crop and field conditions.
Adjust Hydraulic Cylinder Stops
The hydraulic cylinder stops can be adjusted to limit the distance that the rake wheel arm swings out.
Easy Tongue Adjustment
Shown here is the easy tongue adjustment system. This is used to give the operator different offset positions for tedding and a position for storage.
