Heavy Hydraulic Hose Couplers & PTO Shaft
The heavy-duty constant velocity PTO provides driveline protection and allows for a tighter turning radius. Color coded heavy-duty hydraulic hose couplers allow you to correctly hook to the proper tractor remotes.
Patented Vertical Beater Reverse Flighting
The vertical beater flighting uses 1/2" material. The top 20+" of flighting of the vertical beaters is reversed to provide an even spread pattern. Unlike conventional vertical beater manure spreaders that will have a lighter area of material in the center, the patented reverse flighting spreads material into the center of the spread pattern, thus creating an even, uniform spread pattern.
Easy Beater Removal
The beater assembly can easily be removed from the manure spreader by disconnecting and removing the PTO from underneath the rear of the manure spreader, and removing the frame attaching bolts. Attach hook a chain to the lifting eyes (A) on the top of the beater assembly and lift the beater assembly out of the guide pin holes.
Dual Hydraulic Cylinder Guillotine/Metering Style Endgate
The guillotine endgate is able to be adjusted to any position to meter the amount of material that is able to be moved to the beaters by the variable speed apron chain. This combination provides a consistent flow of material, whether it’s pen pack or semi-solids.
Chain & Apron
The PS6180 features large ¾" Grade 80 main apron log-chain with 2" x 4" x 1/4" heavy apron chain slats, versus some of the competitors that offer the lighter 5/8" chain. The main apron tightener bolts (D) are located outside on the lower right and left corners of the main frame for easy adjustment.
Suspension Tongue
The suspension tongue provides operator comfort and reduces mechanical stress and fatigue of both the spreader and the tractor.
Apron Drive Gearbox
The PS6138 features a heavy-duty, hydraulically driven apron gearbox.
Axle Adjustments
There are multiple axle position settings that can be adjusted to optimize balance of the manure spreader.
Floor Supports
This model features large structural channel floor supports spaced for maximum floor support.
Center Drive System & Monobloc Gearbox
A center driveshaft provides power to a Monobloc Gearbox (B) rated for 400 HP, the heaviest gearbox in the industry. A torque limiting and overrunning clutch PTO assembly (C) provides protection to the driveline system.
