Horizontal beater models feature a top beater as standard equipment and are shear bolt protected at the front PTO assembly. Beater blades are replaceable and the beater assembly is removable for stockpiling manure.
Unique Center Drive Chain System
The beaters are driven by the unique center drive system. #80 chains are used for strength and long life. Easy open shields make lubing of chains easy.
Heavy Duty Frame
Heavy duty rectangular tubing is used for the pole and frame to ensure strength and long life. Structural channel floor supports spaced 8" apart are used for maximum floor support. Weight is distributed over the axles with 3" diameter stress proof spindles inserted into a sleeve.
PTO Beater Drive System
The PTO beater drive system consists of a straight shaft off the PTO underneath the center of the manure spreader to an angle gearbox in the rear and over the beater drive sprocket.
Solid Virgin Grade Poly
All hydraulic push models use solid virgin grade poly with UV inhibitor, (HMWPE) for the floor and sides allowing less friction. The hydraulic endgate has 2 cylinders with 3/8" hose and pipe for faster operation in cold weather.
Reduce Push-Off Forces
The H&S hydraulic push-off system on all models features a hydraulic variable speed control and two hydraulic cylinders that sequence to reduce push-off forces and fast unloading of material.
Verical Beaters (425VB & 550VB models)
Optional vertical beater assembly is available on models 425VB and 550VB in lieu of the horizontal beater. Beater assemblies are interchangeable. Removal and installation of either beater assembly is done by removing the mounting bolts and drive chain, interchanging beaters, then reinstalling the mounting bolts and drive chain. Beater gearboxes are safely mounted on the top side of the vertical beaters rather than the bottom to avoid being destroyed by foreign objects. The vertical beater features a quick release clean out pan. The lower left photo shows the pan in the open position for clean out and the lower right photo shows the pan in the closed position for operation.
An auto-oiler for the vertical beater drive chains is standard equipment on models with vertical beaters.
